Terms of service

These terms govern use of Tagviu (https://tagviu.com), including the web app, documentation site, inspect API, hosted MCP, and CLI/Dev Mode features that talk to our servers. Tagviu is a hosted product. This is a plain-language agreement, not legal advice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
You (or an agent) submit a URL. We fetch that public page, extract metadata, score it, and show simulated social previews. Dev Mode lets your machine send localhost HTML to your account for a short-lived preview. You may save reports, sign in, and manage organizations and developer environments. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account details and keep credentials (including CLI environment secrets) confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and organizations you own or join. We may suspend access for abuse, unpaid bills, or security risk.
Acceptable use
Use Tagviu only to inspect URLs you are allowed to fetch. Do not use the service to attack systems, bypass access controls, scan networks you do not operate, or overload our APIs. Do not submit secrets, private credentials, or content you have no right to process. We may rate-limit or block traffic that harms the service or other users.
Inspections and reports
Results are diagnostic. They are not a guarantee of how a platform will render a link. Shareable reports and live embeds expose whatever you choose to share; treat those links as public unless you keep them private.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Fees, seats, and billing interval are shown at checkout. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. You can cancel at period end from the customer portal. We may change prices with notice on the pricing page for future periods.
Intellectual property
We retain rights in Tagviu, the docs, and related marks. You retain rights in content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content only to operate the service (fetch, inspect, store reports you save, and show previews).
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that inspections will match every crawler. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses from URLs you choose to inspect or share.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the latest revision. Continued use of the hosted service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
